**Responsibilities**
Cooking food during service to the exact specifications of the establishment, chef, & guest
Skillfully apply culinary techniques including basic knife skills
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all kitchen equipment
Assist chefs and fellow kitchen staff as needed to execute a successful service
Effectively execute recipes; adhere to yield guides and properly rotate, store, label, and date all products
After completing a comprehensive training program, line cooks will be expected to efficiently and successfully execute a busy service; have detailed knowledge of food and various cooking techniques, and ensure food quality is at its highest standards
**Qualifications**
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Work in a team environment
Display a sense of urgency
Previous kitchen experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is preferred
