Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety of all participants while helping them develop their swimming abilities.

Duties:
- Conduct swimming lessons in a safe and supportive environment
- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and floating
- Provide individualized instruction based on each participant's needs and abilities
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant presence
- Monitor and assess participants' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Plan and organize lesson plans to meet the goals of each class or individual
- Assist with organizing and supervising swim meets or events as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience working with students or individuals in a teaching or coaching capacity is preferred
- Knowledge or experience in other sports such as Judo, Cheerleading, Basketball, or Karate is a plus
- Experience working in a health club or similar environment is beneficial
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques when working with children is desired
- Background in childcare or previous experience working with children is advantageous

Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions and provide feedback to participants of all ages
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with participants and create a positive learning environment
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons and manage class schedules
- Physical fitness and ability to swim long distances, climb in/out of the pool, and demonstrate proper techniques
