Osprey Cove Golf Club, located in St. Marys, Georgia, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Spray Technician. Set within a master-planned community and offering a suite of amenities, Osprey Cove was designed by PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber. The layout is a testament to his commitment to establishing a course that is defined by the natural characteristics of the land and river. Osprey Cove has earned numerous accolades and has been listed among Golfweek’s “Top 5 in Georgia” and Golf and Travel’s “Top 100 Modern Courses.”
Responsibilities of the Spray Technician at Osprey Cove Golf Club include:

• Treats specific insect, weed, turf, disease and nutritional deficiencies by application of appropriate product.
• Maintains accurate records of chemical and biological agents used.
• Attends the monthly agronomy staff meeting with the golf course personnel that covers training, customer service, and progress since the prior month.
• Assists with the implementation of all fertilizer and pesticide programs.
• Safely operates the maintenance equipment.
• Maintains the course and its surroundings (grass, trees, plants, bushes, waste canisters).
• Assists with special projects.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of mixing, spraying and applying liquid fertilizer.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills.

• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move heavy objects.
