Osprey Cove Golf Club, located in St. Marys, Georgia, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Food and Beverage Servers. Set within a master-planned community and offering a suite of amenities, Osprey Cove was designed by PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber. The layout is a testament to his commitment to establishing a course that is defined by the natural characteristics of the land and river. Osprey Cove has earned numerous accolades and has been listed among Golfweek’s “Top 5 in Georgia” and Golf and Travel’s “Top 100 Modern Courses.”

Responsibilities of the Food and Beverage Server at Osprey Cove Golf Club include:

• Utilizes the point of sales system and places orders with the kitchen.
• Fills beverages, mentions daily specials, and answers any questions a guest may have.
• Suggests desserts, coffee, or after-dinner drinks.
• Attends all pre-meal meetings conducted by the Food and Beverage Manager or Executive Chef.
• Advises supervisor of any member complaints.
• Is responsible for cash handling and the accuracy of receipts at day’s end.
• Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
• Completes side-work.
• Understands the basics of theft, waste, and pricing of food and beverage inventory items.

Required Skills

• The ability to sell (and upsell) food and beverage to guests by being cordial, helpful, and sincere.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of mixology, wine, and beer.
• Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding guest/member consumption of alcohol.
• Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.

• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
