Front of House Staff -

Looking to hire one cashier for the 10am-6pm shift, Monday - Friday.

Bob's Donuts will handle any and all necessary training to get you up to speed for baking! Please do not feel deterred if you have no prior baking experience. We welcome all those from different backgrounds and walks of life!

Bob’s Donuts and Pastries is a family owned business that was established in the 1950s. Bob’s is known for our friendly customer service, hospitality, and our hand-crafted donuts and pastries. The responsibility of the cashier at Bob’s Donuts and Pastries is to be the face of the business and maintain a high standard of attentiveness that our loyal customers expect from us.

Responsibilities

A Baker will be warm and welcoming by greeting customers with a smile when helping them picking out items for purchase. The objective of the cashier is to provide excellent customer service and inform the customer of our daily specials, our most popular items, and the freshest donut available. The Baker will master the craft of donut making and use the space to experiment their own flavors!

· Study and know all of the classic donut varieties available, as well as the specials of the day

· Check the board for any upcoming orders for that day and for the next week before taking any additional orders in person or over the phone

· Update social media accounts as fresh batches of donuts come out (Instagram posts, Instagram story, Twitter)

· Restock front window display with full trays of a variety of pastries and donuts that are available in the store

· Clean the front window display so that the counter and window is neat and absent of any crumbs or glaze

· Organize and consolidate the donut trays on the racks, so that the amount of space can be maximized for new donuts

· Restock drinks such as milk, soda, juices or water bottles into the refrigerator

· Be sure that coffee pots are always full of coffee on the front burners, and have extra pots of coffee made on the back coffee burners

· Restock the cups, lids, coffee sleeves, half and half, and sugar on the coffee counter

· Restock the bin of sugar under the counter, used for coffee or tea

· Clean the customer sitting area such as the counters and stools, and the tables and chairs against the wall

· Sweep up any napkins or crumbs around the sitting area as well as the kitchen and hallway

· Monitor the trash levels of the trash cans inside the store as well as the one outside of the front door. Do not let the trash overflow, and compress the trash down if needed

· Organize and stock new inventory that comes into the donut shop such as milk, coffee, flour, donut supplies, etc.

· Alert management there is low inventory on any supplies: cups, coffee lids, coffee cup sleeves, coffee, tea, bags, napkins, t-shirts, milk, creamer, juices, soda, water bottles etc.

All customers required to wear a mask, 1 customer in the store at a time, social distancing, frequent cleaning of surfaces.

*Posted wage is inclusive of tips. Expected hourly wage is $24 per hour*
