POSITION SUMMARY: Builds business for department by identifying prospective groups and evaluating their potential through researching and analyzing sales options. Prepares presentations and proposals by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks. Create training materials for internal use as need arises. Conduct training to organizations using video-conferencing software. Contributes to team effort by working on office projects as needed. In addition, this person is expected to assist with special projects for the manager and/or supervisor, such as editorial review of office documents and communications.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
• Maintain client relationships
• Pursue new business using existing and potential customer networks
• Provide solutions to special accounts in a timely manner
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
• General office duties
• Regular computer usage
• Communicate with customers, other BJU Press departments and prospective employees via telephone and email
• Process standardized tests (booklet and online) at various stages in the process
• Administer/monitor online testing

• Present information using video-conferencing software
