Job Description : Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver / Yard Attendant to join our team at our location.

The Driver / Yard Attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's outdoor facilities and providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities :

1. Driving : Drive company vehicles for tasks such as transporting boats, trailers, and equipment within the dealership premises or to off-site locations.

2. Boat Handling : Safely and efficiently handle boats during launching, loading, and storage processes.

3. Yard Maintenance : Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the yard area, including sweeping, debris removal, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

4. Inventory Management : Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of boats and accessories stored in the yard.

5. Customer Assistance : Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers with loading and unloading boats, answering basic inquiries, and directing them to appropriate personnel as needed.

6. Equipment Operation : Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, trailers, and tractors in a safe and responsible manner.

7. Assist Technicians : Assist service technicians with moving boats and equipment as required for repairs and maintenance.

8. Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and customers.

9. Facility Upkeep : Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the dealership's outdoor areas, including walkways and parking lots.

10. Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.

Requirements

This position requires a valid Driver's License

1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

3. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

4. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with boat handling techniques is a plus.

5. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

6. Previous experience trailering and transporting boats.

7. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
