Job Description: Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver/Yard Attendant to join our team at our location. The Driver/Yard Attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's outdoor facilities and providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Driving: Drive company vehicles for tasks such as transporting boats, trailers, and equipment within the dealership premises or to off-site locations.

2. Boat Handling: Safely and efficiently handle boats during launching, loading, and storage processes.

3. Yard Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the yard area, including sweeping, debris removal, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

4. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of boats and accessories stored in the yard.

5. Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers with loading and unloading boats, answering basic inquiries, and directing them to appropriate personnel as needed.

6. Equipment Operation: Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, trailers, and tractors in a safe and responsible manner.

7. Assist Technicians: Assist service technicians with moving boats and equipment as required for repairs and maintenance.

8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and customers.

9. Facility Upkeep: Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the dealership's outdoor areas, including walkways and parking lots.

10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.

Requirements

This position requires a valid Driver's License

1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

4. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with boat handling techniques is a plus.

5. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

6. Previous experience trailering and transporting boats. 

7. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
