Boater’s World Marine Centers is actively recruiting a full-time Class A CDL Driver to deliver/haul boats locally and within the state of Florida. We are looking for a reliable commercial driver that possesses a "can-do" attitude with a clean safety record and verifiable work experience. Must be familiar navigating and safely utilizing electronic logging devices. Personal accountability and problem solving are key components, as you will be working independently to complete boat deliveries in an accurate and efficient manner. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete deliveries and routes in a safe and timely manner
• Properly maintain logs to track routes and deliveries
• Perform preventative vehicle maintenance checks and notify the appropriate contact of any red flags
• Handle basic roadside procedures such as changing a flat tire
• Complete checklist on trailers before pickups
• Identify ways to increase productivity and exceed goals
• Occasionally work overtime, evenings, nights or weekends
• Strive for zero preventable incidents/accidents
• Comply with all traffic regulations and safety rules
• Be punctual, arriving to work on time is of extreme importance - if you are frequently late to work, this is not the job for you
• When not driving, applicant will be working outside and organizing the lot so must be able to handle the heat

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of verifiable Class A commercial driving experience in the past 5 years
• Physical ability to get in and out of a vehicle and climb into boats many times a day
• Experience pulling a boat and trailer of multiple sizes
• Marine dealership a plus
• Great customer service skills and organization
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Pledge to make safety a daily priority
• Must pass a background, MVR and drug test
• Posses valid Class A CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
