We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Liquidity and Margin Sales to join our Markets team. This role is located in New York City, NY 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Work as a subject matter expert to represent the Sales organization’s to acquire new franchise clients from internal or external sources.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Business Heads to develop and agree on targets (segment, client, product etc) for prospective clients.
  • Establish self as an advisor and facilitate access and connectivity to the client c-suite, including likely future successors.
  • Execute on new business that supports our client strategy and targets and aligns with our control environment, including management of our client pipeline. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Well-versed in the financial services industry and detailed insight into clients’ businesses.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and accountability with urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. 
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, service-oriented, and with a drive to win business while mitigating risk.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $147,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
