Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain high availability production systems in Public/Private Cloud environments, leveraging expertise in server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Implement secure infrastructure deployment in the cloud using Agile and DevOps concepts, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Manage the full infrastructure stack and lifecycle, including enterprise DNS, load balancing, DMZ application behavior, firewall connectivity, external interfaces, and Identity and Access management (IAM).
• Implement security controls for the Public cloud, ensuring data protection and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize monitoring tools and agents to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure, responding to alerts and incidents as needed.
• Manage OS images and hardening, implement distributed and parallel file systems including disk encryption, and oversee software installation, configuration, and patching.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Azure Resource Manager, ARM Templates, Azure Policies, Python, and Terraform, improving efficiency and reliability of infrastructure management.

Qualifications:

• 6 years of Java development experience
• 3 years of experience developing and deploying microservices to Azure or public cloud
• Previous Use infrastructure-as-code tools experience with Terraform Enterprise, or Azure Resource Manager to define and provision infrastructure resources (preferred)
• Proficiency with APIs management solutions like Azure APIM
• Experience with cloud-based technologies and services including Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Cloud Messaging
• Experience designing, and implementing APIs

Pay Range: $75-$80 Hourly
