Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, installing doors and windows, decks, building structures, and finishing work with a team.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to building codes and regulations.
• Plan carpentry projects, including materials, timeline, and resources required.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Review project blueprints and specifications to understand requirements.
• Train and mentor junior carpenters, helping them develop their skills.
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to carpentry work and develop effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5 years carpentry experience
• Technical understanding of residential construction including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices.
• Experience using BuilderTrend a plus
