Shifts Available: Day Shift (7:00 am - 7:00 pm) and Night Shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am), both available

Schedule: Every other weekend is required

Pay Package: $68/hr

$33/hr on W2 $35/hr (non taxable )

Weekly gross: $2448

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit on a 13-week contract basis in Maywood, IL. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. This position offers flexibility with both day and night shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to patients in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to emergency situations and changes in patients' conditions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts as required, including every other weekend.
