Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse seeking a dynamic opportunity in the medical-surgical telemetry float pool? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Tele-Float Pool for a 13-week assignment. This position offers 36 hours per week with a shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am and includes working every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
• Ability to float to different units and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Availability for a 13-week assignment with a 7:00 pm to 7:30 am shift, including every other weekend.
