Infection Prevention Practitioner /Part-Time

Blythedale Children’s Hospital currently has an outstanding Part-Time opportunity for an Infection Prevention Practitioner. Working in collaboration with the Director of Infection Prevention will assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the hospital wide infection prevention program. Will participate in the development of strategies and protocols to minimize and reduce the spread of infections, methods of surveillance and reporting of infection rates.

Ideal candidates will possess a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, CBIC certification or eligibility for certification preferred. We will consider other medical professionals with strong Infection Prevention/Control experience. In addition, 3 years’ healthcare experience in an acute care or long-term care setting highly preferred. Knowledge of The Joint Commission Infection Control standards and reporting requirements for NHSN.
