BlueWater Federal is looking for a Senior Market Development Manager to support, feed and track the company's new business growth efforts. As the Sr Market Development Manager, you will participate in the overall growth lifecycle, including new business development, capture, and proposals. Remote role
Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis on federal market sectors through various research tools (GovWin, Bloomberg) and the internet (FPDS, SAM, Agency Websites, LinkedIn, etc)
- Work with Business Development and Operations Teams to create and manage strategies to identify new opportunities, market insights, business opportunities, including analysis of customer budgets,
- Support Business Development, Capture Manager, and Proposal Managers in responding to Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP) notices, develop proposal templates, capture supporting matrices, participate in pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, recruiting incumbent/new personnel, etc
- Prepare and present opportunity briefing documentation and records consistent with approved processes and procedures utilizing a variety of industry research tools
- Research information and assist technical writers for white papers, proposals, and sources sought requests in addition to blogs and infographics on various industry topics/events
- Maintain/support SalesForce CRM tool and data for new business growth; maintain/input BlueWater data into the Tetra Tech BD Portal
- Prepare/edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents such as Company website and newsletters related to new business
- Arrange and coordinate marketing efforts, meetings, and industry events
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of federal government-contracting experience
- Ability to independently problem-solve and conduct market research, analysis, and documentation, while communicating findings in a collaborative setting
- Flexibility to occasionally work irregular business hours to accommodate events, conferences, and opportunity deadlines.
- Experience with SmartSheet, GovWin, Bloomberg-GOV, SalesForce, and other GovCon industry tools is highly desired.
