Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals of all ages. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs
- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Collect data and conduct research to contribute to the field of psychology
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of psychological theories, principles, and practices
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Proficient in conducting child and family counseling sessions
- Ability to effectively document medical information and maintain confidentiality
- Skilled in various therapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy
- Competent in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions
- Familiarity with working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care and collaboration with colleagues
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus
