CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for an individual who can join our team with positive energy and a dedication to providing our customers with the right product at the right time. Working with the latest Okuma Mills and Lathes, you will be responsible for the throughput of the machine while producing quality parts.

Responsibilites

• Maintain consistent operation of Lathes or Mills after Machinist has completed the First Article.
• Inspect parts to BluePrint using calipers, fixtures and other instruments as necessary.
• Complete paperwork related to quality checks or production quantities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment to eliminate foreign object debris (FOD) and other hazards
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operators, and Expeditors to assure a productive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC operations on 3,4 5 axis machines & lathes. Okuma background is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Use of measuring devices (Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gauges …).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and instructional reasons.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Standing for long periods throughout entire shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
