Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Material Handler 1 operates forklifts or other mobile equipment to perform routine moving, staging, loading or unloading of materials, supplies or products within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

• Transports raw materials, supplies, products and / or finished goods to and from storage or production lines and places them in designated area
• Completes all necessary paperwork and transactions, including scanning requirements
• Helps in packout area as needed.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
• Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum :

High School diploma or equivalent or attain ACT WorkKeys Assessment at certified job profile skill level

Preferred :

• 3 months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Mobile equipment certification
