I.General Summary : Primary job focus is the loading & unloading of trucks, placing & removing items from inventory, and operating various packaging equipment.
Additional responsibilities include delivering parts, materials, and supplies to the proper production area, and removing finished product from the line in a timely manner.
II.Essential Job Functions : A.Removes finished product and excess parts from the production area.B.Stocks / re-stocks parts and products.
C.Unloads in-bound trucks, enters materials into inventory, and stocks in proper location. Verifies shipment accuracy and inspects for damage.
D.Removes products from inventory, stages the product, and loads out-bound trucks.E.Operations the following equipment in a safe and proper manner : forklift, scanner, shrink wrapper, and various pieces of packing equipment.
F.Supports the stocking of the production area to the proper level of parts, products, and packing & raw materials to insure effective operations.
G.Performs basic maintenance on equipment and lift trucks.H.Provides training, leadership and guidance to new / less experienced Material Handlers.
I.Maintains equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and professional manner.J.Maintains the proper documentation and record keeping.

IV.Work Environment / Conditions : Office : N / APlant : Standard automotive plant / warehouse environment with moderate noise level.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, Kevlar sleeves, hearing protection, etc. may be required in designated engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas.
Personal attire standards may apply.Travel : Must be willing to travel up to 5% of the time. V.Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear.
The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, standing, and climbing or bending on, under, or near tooling and equipment for extended periods of time.
Frequently required to reach, grasp, and manipulate parts, materials, or equipment. May be occasionally required to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
