Blueprint Robotics is a fast-growing company in the construction industry that has adopted the off-site method of building wood-framed structures. This type of construction is well established in Europe and parts of Asia but is relatively new to the US industry. Blueprint is on the cutting edge of the new form of construction.
In the future, the company plans to begin adding additional manufacturing facilities. While the first facility will generate $100M of annual revenue the first facility will barely scratch the surface of the potential opportunity. The company believes there is significant room to grow, and in the process, to build a billion-dollar business, with the ultimate vision to have dozens of facilities strategically located throughout the US.
- Accounts Payable
- Assist in management of accounts payable workflow - GL coding, pending invoice/approval tracking, updating records and vendor information, initiating invoice payment and vendor account reconciliations.
- Analyze processes and procedures; identify areas of opportunity to streamline processes.
- Review and verify invoice and payments are properly recorded with associated backup for the entries.
- Research Purchase Order discrepancies for faster invoice processing.
- Reconcile and research key vendor statements and discrepancies.
- Audit and process employee expense reports for payment.
- Research and reconcile multiple bank statements.
- Assist in Journal entry prep and month end reconciliations.
- Participate in variance analysis.
- Validate that general ledger transactions comply with company/department policies and procedures.
- Provide support in other areas of corporate accounting and special projects as required.
- Prepare and/or provide inputs for schedules and reports.
- Respond to various inquiries regarding financial data.
- Review / update existing processes and procedures.
- Works well individually and collaboratively in a team environment keeping colleagues well-informed.
- Detail and transaction oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage and prioritize workload.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines and take initiative in recognizing and resolving any problems, issues, or discrepancies.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in a rapidly growing environment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks online is a plus.
