Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of our IT environment. This position must possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills and the ability to align IT strategies with overall business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and software applications.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems, and proactively address any issues or vulnerabilities.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of IT-related problems.
• Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations for 3rd party vendors and team members.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard the company's data and systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration tests to identify and address any vulnerabilities or risks.
• Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of IT support requests from employees and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep employees informed about IT-related updates and changes.

Required Skills / Abilities

• Strong technical knowledge and background across a broad range of IT systems and technologies, including networks, servers, security, and software applications.
• Solid understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Must be an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with senior business stakeholders, IT leadership, and end-users.
• Must have experience managing 3rd party vendor relationships and holding vendors accountable for performance.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and develop effective solutions.
• Should be able to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results.
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• 5 years of experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and IT project management is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

• Exposed to a normal office environment, attached manufacturing warehouse.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
