Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Supervisor: SLP Lead & Clinical Director

Summary
The role of the Speech Language Pathologist encompasses many facets of the organization: time management, patience, and perseverance. An SLP may be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist or a Clinical Fellow; previous experience with children on the spectrum or related disorders is preferred but not required. Prior experience implementing various assessment tools is preferred but not required. You must be capable of multi-tasking, displaying professional reactions to stressful situations, being open to adapting to new conditions, and engaging with children at all times.

As an additional benefit for eligible team members enrolled in medical coverage, Bluegrass Center for Autism will pay a percentage towards your premium; for each year of service reached, the percentage that BCA will pay towards your premium will increase, and the team members' portion will lower.
Bluegrass Center for Autism offers all eligible team members to participate in our 401K plan. Participant requirements are a minimum age of 21 and must have worked full-time for 12 consecutive months and 1,000 hours of service.
Bluegrass Center for Autism offers a $20K employer-provided life insurance policy for Full-time eligible team members.
BCA offers all staff members a work anniversary bonus; you will receive $100 for every year of service to our organization on your annual work anniversary.
Hours of Operation
Bluegrass Center for Autism's hours of operation is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Instructors will be assigned to early care one day a week from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on that day.

Education and/or Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform successfully in this role, an individual should be able to log in to data/billing applications & input necessary information.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Ability to complete Safe Crisis Management, CPR, and First-Aid training (training provided). RBT certification
