Position Description

The Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our various government projects. The successful individual will be an experienced, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and critical thinking skills.   • Work closely with a designated staffing agency to understand our hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry events, to source qualified candidates for technical positions.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant hiring laws and regulations and maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Support the BlueForge Recruiting team in any additional activities that support the missions and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or in a similar role, preferably in a government contracting environment, or a combination of education and experience for success in the role.
  • Familiarity with recruiting Project Managers/Program Managers, technical roles and skill sets relevant to government projects.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, candidate assessment methods, and interview strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools/software.
  • Project Management experience a plus.
  • Position can be on-site, remote or hybrid.

Salary & Benefits

Expected Salary Range $90,000– 110,000 depending on role and qualifications.
