Blue Water Developmental Housing is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Marysville, MI
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- At least 3 to 5 years’ experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable for insurance purposes and reliable transportation.
- Acceptable criminal records check, meeting the organization definition of acceptable moral character.
- Meets any minimum qualification for the position as may be required by the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Community Health, funding sources and/or federal, state, or local statutes.
- Complete general filing as assigned
- Distribute information as requested.
- Attend policy and department meetings as assigned.
- Maintain Internal and External Customer Service.
- Bring unresolved or escalating issues to the attention of the Finance Director.
- Maintain revenue and deposit records.
- Process approved credit memos.
- Send monthly receivable reports to appropriate Division Directors.
- Send month-end activity reports to appropriate supervisors.
- Process annual payee reports.
- Process MDHHS verification letters.
- Maintain resident records.
- Send month-end activity reports to appropriate supervisors.
- Reviews resident funds logs, communicates needed corrections to appropriate staff, forward and file, as necessary.
- Backup payables processing.
- Backup claims processing.
