We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our fitness center team. As a Personal Trainer, you will work one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals through personalized workout plans and coaching.
Starting Pay: $35 per 60-Minute session
Responsibilities:
Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalized workout plans based on clients' goals, fitness levels, and medical histories
Provide individualized coaching and instruction during personal training sessions to ensure proper form and technique
Motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness goals
Monitor client progress and adjust workout plans as needed
Educate clients on proper nutrition and lifestyle habits to support their fitness goals
Demonstrate correct use of all weight and cardio equipment
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Build and maintain a client base that contributes to departmental revenues
Complete a client movement screening
Requirements:
Knowledge, or the ability to learn, Mindbody and Connect2 software. Previous experience with club management and appointment scheduling software a plus
Minimum of two years of education in the field of exercise science or a related field plus a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position or hold a Bachelor's degree in exercise science.
Nationally recognized certification in personal training - NSCA or ACSM preferred
Current CPR, first aid and AED certification must be obtained with in 60 days of hire
Previous experience working as a personal trainer, preferably in a fitness center setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Pass a background check
