Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related sciences
- National laboratory certification - ASCP or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED
Experience Required
- Two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Two additional years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
Knowledge of:
- Clinical laboratory and health care regulations
- Laboratory sciences
- Working knowledge of other departmental processes
