Woodside Homes is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Resource Planning Coordinator.

The Resource Planning Coordinator is responsible for the work of daily schedule maintenance and starts management in the Geographic Planned Production system. Supports the Resource Planning Manager in offering updates daily on schedule adherence and monitors potential constraints that could slow down the production schedule. This position also supports the Customer Care team through ticket management and Trade Partner communication. Thorough and detailed communication is necessary with the construction team to ensure industry leading cycle time performance.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collaborate with Resource Planning Manager, Operations team and Trade Partners on the creation, optimization, and management of templates and schedules, resulting in full ownership of the scheduling process.

· Manage and communicate production schedules in BuildPro through daily updates.

· Monitor current cadence of starts to ensure efficiency and schedule adherence.

· Offer input on which homes and how many homes to slot weekly considering history of schedule adherence and capacity of trade partners.

· Show proficiency and knowledge when navigating Power BI, Sharepoint and managing and updating the IMT to analyze and create cycle time spreadsheets. Always being prepared to speak to real time information regarding current cycle time.

· Analyze and identify opportunities to implement process improvements.

· Coordinate and help annotate Customer Care concerns in BuildPro.

· Communicate with Trade Partners and superintendent to assist in scheduling Customer Care items through BuildPro.

· Assist in escalated Customer Care incidents to route calls to appropriate and responsible parties.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Background or field of study in construction or a related industry preferred.

· 1-2 years of experience managing schedules.

· Demonstrated understanding of residential construction techniques and scheduling.

· Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality or productivity.

· Familiarity with software scheduling tools (i.e., Hyphen, Constellation, Microsoft, etc.)

· Ability to self-manage and work independently.

· Functional building knowledge for residential construction.

· Ability to apply scheduling processes.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills.

· Functional knowledge of Lean Principles, Theory of Constraints, and Critical Chain Theory.

· Ability to use software scheduling tools.

· Ability to balance multiple tasks.

· Maintains a focus on quality of decisions while considering deadlines.

· Communicates risks early to support deliverables.

· Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure decisions accurately address issues.

· Recognizes that individual decisions can have long-term and interconnected impact.

· Establishes feedback loops to ensure quality of decisions.
