Alta Sierra Veterinary Hospital is located in Show Low, AZ, the Gateway to Arizona's White Mountains. Show Low is a southwestern, mid-elevation mountain community with a temperate climate, famous for its world class hunting and fishing and includes scenic mountain biking, hiking, skiing, & kayaking. We are also conveniently located less than 3 hours from Tucson, Phoenix, & Flagstaff.
Since 1996, we have stayed true to our mission of providing quality medicine in a small-town environment. We are now seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian, motivated to care for our loyal clients and their pets. Our facility is comprised of six exam rooms, a comfort room, dental suite, surgical suite, endoscopy, diagnostic in-house lab, digital & dental radiology, therapeutic laser, computerized workstations throughout the hospital, and paper-lite record keeping. We also provide limited after-hours emergency services and chiropractic care.
Although our current patients are primarily small animal, we also serve our equine, bovine, small ruminant, and exotic patients. We welcome all levels of interest and experience – you bring the passion and we’ll bring the collaboration!

The exact salary offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. At Blue River PetCare, your salary is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in various benefits offerings, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid vacation, annual CE stipend, PLIT coverage, and reimbursement of licensure fees and membership dues.
