Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our Home Care business. The Nursing Assistant/ In-Home aide will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and make a positive impact on patients' lives.
Duties:
- bathing - shaving - ambulation
- mouth care - dressing - exercise
- hair care - feeding - toileting
- nail care - positioning - medication reminding
- skin care - transferring - vital signs and Blood Pressure
Skills:
- Ability to lift and move patients with care
- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Understanding of basic medical terminology
- Proficient in aseptic techniques for infection control
- Previous experience working in home care is preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a preferred, but not required.
