Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our Home Care business. The Nursing Assistant/ In-Home aide will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Duties:

• May include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship and respite,
• In-home aides are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
• Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including:

- bathing - shaving - ambulation

- mouth care - dressing - exercise

- hair care - feeding - toileting

- nail care - positioning - medication reminding

- skin care - transferring - vital signs and Blood Pressure

Skills:
- Ability to lift and move patients with care
- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Understanding of basic medical terminology
- Proficient in aseptic techniques for infection control
- Previous experience working in home care is preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a preferred, but not required.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
