Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm and one day from 10 am to 7 pm
Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering counseling services to assigned residential and non-residential students in personal and social development, career employment, and behavior. Provides individual and group counseling and crisis intervention to all students. Contacts students prior to scheduled arrival on center to provide information about the center and behavioral expectations. Conduct and document intake. Provide on-going structured, scheduled and documented individual social development and adjustment counseling. Collaborate with each student to develop a Personal Career Development Plan, update on an on-going basis. Ensure that each student participates in ongoing evaluations with appropriate staff at least every 60 days. Assists students in requesting and obtaining approval of leaves and passes.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (including 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction) required. One year experience in counseling or related field. Valid driver’s license. First Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
