YOUR NEW ROLE AS AN AUTO SERVICE ADVISOR

This full-time sales position works a 4-day week! The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We the lock doors at 5:00 to make sure you get out on time.

Being our customers' ambassador, you eagerly greet them as they arrive with their vehicles, establishing a friendly rapport and identifying the reason for their visit. A great communicator, you take the time to answer any questions or concerns customers may have while also providing clear explanations of their vehicle issues along with service recommendations. Once the customer agrees to the proposed work, you record their information and prepare a repair order for our automotive technicians to follow.

You represent our company to our valued customers, so you consistently strive to provide excellent customer service while establishing strong relationships that will keep them coming back to our shop. Your fair, accurate estimates and willingness to answer questions help build trust and loyalty with every customer. Additionally, you create a welcoming environment for all visitors as you maintain a clean, professional front desk and reception area.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN AUTO SERVICE ADVISOR

• Strong practical knowledge of the repair of all vehicles
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to adapt to company systems
• Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute with above-average spelling ability
• Ability to operate a photocopier, calculator, credit card machines, and all related business equipment
• Computer and point-of-sale proficiency
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
