Essential Functions

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, toileting, grooming, bathing, nail care, oral hygiene, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts clients on shopping trips, medical appointments, and other outings
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards
• Assists with the planning and executing of activities for clients on a regularly scheduled basis
• Helps with laundry service, making the bed, and cleaning the room, if they are able
• Be tactful and courteous when dealing with clients, families, visitors, and staff
• Treats clients with dignity and respect at all times
• Performs other duties as requested

Minimum Requirements

• Submit High School diploma or GED
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Proof of TB test
• Must be 18 years old and above
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs or more
• Must have a passion for helping and taking care of others
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime, as needed.
• Emotional maturity and ability to avoid intrusion of personal problems on quality and stability of service
