Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with medication reminders
• Assist patients with ambulation Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help patients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the patient
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report changes in condition
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as requested
• Understand and utilize care plans

Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED
• Willingness to work with the elderly
• Must be 21 years old or older

Requirements:

• CNA/HHA/PCA Certification
• COVID-19 vaccination (preferred, not required)
• CPR Certification
• Ability to pass a state and national criminal background check
• Ability to pass a written competency exam and a hands-on skills assessment
