Some of the tasks expected from you are the following:

• To politely greet and assist residents, families, and visitors.
• To help in assessing patients by collecting information or data for our nurses to review
• To monitor and handle medications based on proper medication administration
• To be alert when something happens out of your control
• To ensure that engaging activities are performed on a daily basis
• To cooperate and communicate with our professional staff; build rapport with residents
• To keep our resident’s confidential information
• To keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• To perform other duties as assigned.
• To assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
• Home health/hospice experience preferred
• A critical thinker and judgment in nursing
• Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
• Ability in solving a variety of problems that may arise
• Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely and must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire
