CNA Duties

• Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
• Delivering great patient care.
• Taking calls from patients and figuring out how to aid them.
• Monitoring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal discharge and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
• Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
• Providing physical assistance with everyday tasks and personal hygiene for patients or residents, such as showering, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Repositioning and turning patients who are bedridden.
• Monitoring the nutritional requirements, food allergies, and dietary preferences of patients or residents to ensure they receive a suitable diet.
• Obtaining detailed information about patients' ailments, treatment plans, and suggested activities from doctors, caretakers, and nurses.
• Taking patient's temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and breathing rate when the staff requests it.
• Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of vaccination against COVID
• Proof of TB test
• Ability to undergo and pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• BLS/First Aid Certification encouraged
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Works well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Willingness to train!
