We are looking for candidates who want to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to train with us and start their career in nursing! Under the direction of the Registered Nurse or the nurse supervisor, our CNA is responsible for providing high quality, individualized basic care activities and procedures for our seniors.

Duties

• Perform light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff and visitors by adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Assist residents with daily hygiene requirements including showers, bathing, dressing, or toileting
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, or wheelchairs
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist residents with performing activities of everyday living including bathing, eating, dressing, and more
• Engage in various housekeeping tasks related to the patient including replacing bedding, cleaning patient rooms or more
• Observe and immediately report resident reactions and changes in condition as well as take and record vital signs
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 18 years of age or older
• Current CPR certificate is recommended
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Current TB testing required
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screening
• Must be able to pass a Federal and State background check
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
