Role description

That's why we offer free training to all CNAs who join our team. Our comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the necessary tools to provide high-quality care to our patients.

During the training, you will receive instruction in a wide range of essential topics, including patient safety, infection control, vital sign measurement, assisting with activities of daily living, and effective communication skills. Our experienced trainers will guide you through both theoretical and practical aspects of caregiving, ensuring that you are fully prepared to meet the needs of our patients.

Duties will include:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing mobility and ambulation assistance, including transferring and positioning patients.
• Participating in ongoing education and training related to patient care.
• Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
• Recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assisting with feeding and hydration, including special diets as needed.
• Documenting patient care activities in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Communicating with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.

Qualifications

• Full vaccination against COVID-19 and the flu to protect our patients and staff.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation, as well as a willingness to drive to patient locations to provide care.
• Physical strength and ability to lift up to 50 pounds to assist patients with mobility and daily living activities.
• Clearing a criminal background check, physical examination, and drug screening to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and employees.
• High school diploma or GED is a minimum education requirement
