Blossom Center for children has been providing naturalistic and progressive play-based therapy to young children with autism for 12 years! Our owner is a Clinical Psychologist and BCBA and our #1 focus every day is our employees’ happiness and client outcomes. We currently have 2 fabulous clinics in San Antonio, TX and are getting ready to expand a little more!

What makes Blossom unique from other ABA providers?
  • We are privately owned by our founder and passionate clinical expert, Dr. Gia Koehne, who has over 20 years of experience in diagnosing and treating young children with autism.
  • We use a unique and effective autism treatment guide developed by Dr. Koehne, Milestones in Autism. It helps guide our BCBAs in selecting developmentally appropriate goals and is full of examples and templates!
  • We assure quality in our treatment of the autism spectrum disorder through progressive treatment approaches by highly trained staff. We have a dedicated position with an experienced BCBA who’s primary role is to ensure client outcomes.
  • We are dedicated to manageable caseloads.
  • We have monthly goals of 80-90 hours treatment hours instead of weekly compliance requirements.

Current Opening: 1 Full Time ABA Case Supervisor Position (BCBA)
The ABA Case Supervisor (BCBA) is responsible for the development, maintenance, and supervision of applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programming for children with autism spectrum disorder and their families in our clinic. In addition, ABA Case Supervisor selects and manages the behavior therapists in their team.
We require a BCBA certification but highly encourage BCBA supervisees and newly certified BCBAs to apply as well! We provide significant structured training, coaching and support in all areas in order to be successful in this position from day 1 and continuously throughout employment.
Our BCBAs enjoy:
Flexible Work Hours. We have a Monday through Friday schedule that works for you. We understand that a healthy work-life integration means taking the occasional day off to restore and refresh. We trust our BCBAs to manage their schedule and meet their work goals.

PTO and holiday packages. Our paid time off averages 20 days per year with increases every 2 years. We also have 9 paid holidays per year and pay for you to take off for your birthday.

We offer a generous and flexible parental leave program that is tailored to your needs. We also provide a childcare stipend for new parents to help assist in the financial care of their child.

FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Reporting Relationship:
  • Clinical Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervises behavioral therapists
  • Oversees and delegates the daily work activities of the department.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000/year
Location: San Antonio, TX
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client intake assessments and reassessments.
  • Develop and update behavior intervention plans and treatment plans.
  • Provide ABA direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Manage relationships with parents and caregivers.
  • Modify clinical protocols based on client progress.
  • Communicate client progress with caregivers.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding employees; includes orientation and training.
  • Prepare and perform employee performance evaluations.
  • Manage and oversee the schedules of assigned clients and caregivers daily to ensure consistency in therapy.
  • Maintain all required state certifications and licenses.
Basic Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, or applied behavior analysis.
  • Valid BCBA certificate in good standing with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a BCBA treating children with autism. We also welcome applications from those newly certified or soon to be certified.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in good standing for the State of Texas (or eligible).
  • Minimum 6 months experience training Behavior Technicians and monitoring progress.
  • Experience assisting in the development of comprehensive ABA treatment plans and program monitoring for children with autism.
  • Successful completion of 8-hour ABA supervisor training; proof required.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certificate.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical/religious accommodation
