Become a Senior Frontend Engineer for Bloomreach! We are building a dedicated team for the Content Paas module of the Bloomreach Experience (BRX), a product that has 150 customers worldwide. Become a part of our Engineering Team, and work out of our Amsterdam office or from home on a full-time basis.

Your job will be to

• Improve and modernize the UI, the code base, and the architecture of our Content Paas product
• Design and develop new features, maintain existing features in the underlying codebase and sometimes prototype new features as POCs.
• Think and own the full development life cycle - from backlog refinement, architecture, technology, coding standards, and testing to code reviews
• Be a high producer of work with hands-on development 
• Cooperate with the cross-team Frontend Chapter

Your success story will be

• In 30 days, you will go through our onboarding program, get to know the company, product, stack & team
• In 90 days, you will have delivered initial requests along with your teammates
• In 180 days, you will have completed building up your knowledge on the project and the product roadmap, worked on high-priority issues and removed significant pain for the customers
• In 365 days you will be comfortable challenging the status quo and delivering the highest business value

You have these qualities and experience

Professional experience

• 5 years of software development experience
• Extensive knowledge of TypeScript (or JavaScript with a strong will to switch to TypeScript)
• Advanced Angular (or similar component-based framework with a will to work with Angular)
• Experience with testing (Karma, Jasmine, Jest)
• Hands-on experience in designing and building modern production-grade systems
• The ability to work in project teams effectively, being reliable and communicating clearly
• At least an intermediate skill with scss/less/css (be able to get things done in reasonable quality if your styler colleagues are busy)
• You can define and install modern FE development practices & processes
• You write clean code and ship it with automated tests
• Can't live with technical debt and you advocate why it's essential to pay it off
• You display a quality mindset regarding automated testing and code review
