Hours:
4.875 hours per day. 3.25 of contact time and 1.625 of non-instructional time to include prep and meetings
4 days per week Monday-Thursday
203 days per year
Required Licensure:
Current MN Teaching Licensure: ESL K-12
Required Experience:
Teaching ELL adults in a diverse environment, experience with CASAS, SID, Northstar Digital Literacy, ability to build relationships with students and staff, experience utilizing volunteers in a classroom setting. Experience with integrating distant learning platforms into instruction important. Knowledge of CANVAS a plus. Knowledge and understanding of 3 content area standards required by Adult Basic Education.
Preferred:
Experience working with English language learners that have little to no knowledge of English language.
Responsibilities:

• Teaching English as a Second Language to Adult students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• On-going lesson planning, testing, and working with a team.
• Facilitating and utilizing volunteers in the classroom
