Guide the customer experience both in his/her specific area as well as throughout the store Driven by our Desire to Win • Sell the product and achieve both personal and departmental sales goal through creative energy and style consciousness • Assist with customer issues o When a manager is unavailable, or Supervisor is physically close to the issue o Elevated systemic access for overrides/MacysTH look-ups o Assist with difficult register transactions when needed o Be a resource to other associates • Back – up to department mentor o Does not assume manager responsibilities, but is available for questions or a shadow experience if the mentor/manager is unavailable • Seek partnership from store management when service standard is not being met • Assists BSM in getting all associates to participate in fulfillment • Maintain the appearance of the sales floor and merchandise to standard o Ensure floor stock is maintained • Merchandise to Sell lead o Assists MMs and BSMs in getting all associates involved M2S o Checks over associates work to ensure direction is being followed • Stocking all registers/charging mobile devices o Assisting BSM to make sure all associates participate in restocking supplies and ensuring mobiles are charged o Ensure appropriate supplies are on hand • Expert in promotions o Helping associates understand promotions • Assist and coach others to help with store closing procedures o Check fitting rooms/wrap desks to make sure all is clean o Check zones to make sure floor looks closed to open |
