We are a growing e-commerce manufacturer in the gifting industry, known for our high-quality products and attention to detail. As the Chocolate Dipping Department Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of orders produced in our dipping and packing rooms. Your dedication to safety, security, and productivity will contribute to our continued success.
Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, oversee, and participate in the chocolate dipping and packaging room operations and activities
• Collect, organize, and facilitate the completion of daily orders from production to packaging and shipping
• Direct and oversee the chocolate dippers to complete miscellaneous tasks as needed for orders or sample requests
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure standards of efficiency and quality are being met
• Assist in providing necessary security and safety in the working environment
• Communicate with Chocolate Production Manager about inventory that is low or out of stock
• Fill in for Chocolate Production Manager as needed and assigned
• Report and document daily berry yields for procurement
• Complete and turn in daily chocolate strawberry lot tracking logs in an accurate and timely manner
• Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Follow designated area clean-up procedures in preparation for the start of the next shift
• Maintain all forms of communication with coworkers and managers in a timely and effective manner
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work area

Occasional days and hours added as needed during peak holiday seasons, including sunday work.
Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in the chocolate industry or similar field is preferred
• Ability to work weekends and day shifts with the possibility of overtime
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Minimum 1yr Leadership Experience Required
