Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review product schedule, specification sheet using I-pad for the batch to be mixed
• Validate ingredients available, collect from storage, scan to ensure they are approved for use.
• Stage ingredients in area for future batches to mix when possible.
• Follow inventory process to pull items from inventory using scanner.
• Visually check to ensure selected mixer is empty and conche is available to receive product.
• Enter lot number for batch in computer system.
• Pull liquor into mixing tank, dump in sugar and other ingredients as required by the product recipe ensuring ingredients added uniformly to maintain proper amperage of mixer.
• Visually monitor and inspect the liquidity of the paste, adding cocoa butter or fat as necessary to maintain correct consistency and mixer amperage.
• Contact maintenance immediately when system issues occur including spikes in amperage of mixer.
• Document all additions made to the mix - including lot number, weights, material used
• Clean area and remove trash as necessary.
• Operate within the core values of respect and care for others.

Qualifications

• Must have great attention to detail.
• Able to read and write English to maintain production reports or paperwork
• Comply with all relevant laws and regulations for safety and quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to identify machine problems, able to set up and adjust multiple pieces of machinery.
