Requirements

Medical Assistant Primary Duties:

  • Assisting our Provider in delivering quality care to patients
  • Providing side-by-side assistance with general dermatology and surgical procedures
  • Assist with cosmetic procedures and lasers
  • Reviewing the patient’s medical history
  • Maintaining notes in our EMR system
  • Obtaining appropriate consents
  • Calling in prescriptions
  • Performing patient callbacks

Medical Assistant Skills and Qualities:

  • Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers
  • Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider’s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice
  • Proficient communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Flexible hours
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed

Experience and Education:

Preferred Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) License, or LPN
Preferred Hands-on experience in a clinical setting, Will train the right candidate
Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred, not required 

Experience and Education:
