Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and be proficient in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets
• Prepare financial statements and ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Assist with budget preparation and monitor spending
• Write checks
• Generate P&L reports utilizing QuickBooks

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping
• At least 1 year of experience with QuickBooks
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable processes
• Familiarity with debits and credits
• Strong 10-key typing skills
• Ability to perform account reconciliation
• Experience with bank reconciliation
• A BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or a related field strongly preferred
