Blickman Industries has provided the healthcare industry with high quality stainless steel medical equipment since 1889. We're expanding to Lawrenceburg, TN and are looking to staff our facility with skilled individuals to help with the success of the local business.

We're looking for a CNC laser/ break press programmer to create nesting sheets to optimize use of materials and program those to Trumpf Trumabend C110 as well as other Trumpf and Amada equipment (Break Presses and Punch Presses).

This will be a full time hourly non-exempt position in Lawrenceburg, TN. Starting wage depending on experience.

Job functions:

• Office position for programing and nesting sheet and tube laser jobs. Works closely with sheet and tube laser operators to enhance programing and production efficiency.
• Provides laser operators programs with accurate nested parts optimized for sheet size and cutting parameters
• Reads, writes and understands "G" code based programming enabling editing of direct numerical control database to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
• Checks drawings from engineering and drafting team for compatibility for laser cutting
• Organizing parts for laser cutting to optimize full sheets of material to reduce scrap
• Works with a Trumpf Trumabend C110, Trumpf TruPunch 5000, Amada Vipros 358 King CNC punch Press and various Press Brakes (mostly Trumpf)
• Additional duties as assigned by manager

Skills and qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Solidworks, Profold, Profab Design software, sheet laser optimization software packages as well as Microsoft products
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience laser programing
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Highly organize and self-motivated
