Job Title: Family Resource Center Coordinator

Location: Tennessee

Qualifications:

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Family Resource Center Coordinator. The Family Resource Center Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of essential services and support to families in need within the community. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with coursework or experience in education, social work, psychology, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with social work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct assessments of families' needs and develop individualized plans to address those needs effectively.
  2. Provide information, referrals, and resources to families seeking assistance with various issues, including but not limited to housing, healthcare, education, and employment.
  3. Collaborate with community organizations, agencies, and schools to enhance and expand the services offered by the Family Resource Center.
  4. Offer counseling, guidance, and advocacy to families facing challenges or crises, advocating for their rights and best interests.
  5. Organize and facilitate workshops, support groups, and educational sessions on topics relevant to families' needs and interests.
  6. Maintain accurate records of services provided, client progress, and outcomes, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  7. Stay informed about local resources, policies, and trends affecting families and incorporate this knowledge into service delivery and program development.
  8. Supervise and support staff and volunteers working within the Family Resource Center, providing guidance, training, and feedback as needed.
  9. Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement efforts to assess the effectiveness of services and identify areas for enhancement.
