We’re currently looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our corporate office in Mandeville. This position would be responsible for full cycle accounting.

Duties:

· Prepare monthly GC draws for each construction project by receiving the monthly construction billings from the subcontractor and combining that information with direct construction costs for review by Controller.

· Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, for intercompany business transactions, corporate cards, and complete related GL reconciliations.

· Code and pay overhead business costs for Construction entity and bill back to job’s if needed.

· Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages and delivers to management.

· Prepare Sub Contacts and Obtain subcontractor COI’s and W-9’s insuring compliance.

· Processes vendor invoices, credit card charges, and subcontractor bills in accounting software (reviewing data entry for accuracy and verify proper project/departments).

· Follow up with Project Manager to make sure all change orders are entered.

· Contacts subcontractors for lien waivers as required and ensures proper lien releases are obtained from vendors prior to payment

· Tracks subcontractor’s licenses and insurance to insure both remain current for one job.

· Monitors and reconciles contractor retainage accounts

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting with two or more years of experience in accounting or 8 plus years of full charge bookkeeper experience

· Knowledge of Microsoft software products is essential. Knowledge of Sage 300CRE, Procore and Textura a plus.

· Knowledge of departmental policy and procedures and current trends, principles, and practices of accounting/ auditing

· Experience in construction accounting a big plus

· Ability to carry out assigned tasks and projects to their completion through efforts of self or

· Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the work of subordinates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
