Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the Houston School District, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support in the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting assessments to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech therapy strategies into the overall education plan.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Support in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of education plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• SLPA certification or licensure in the state of Texas.
• Experience working with school-aged children is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
